About the Project
Morel Energy Storage (“Morel”) is ideally located in Moffat County, Colorado on approximately 32 acres, where it interconnects to critical transmission infrastructure at Tri-State Generation and Transmission’s (“Tri-State”) Craig Substation. This facility will provide much-needed energy storage capacity and services to the Tri-State electrical grid on the Western Slope, enhancing grid reliability and accelerating the integration of locally produced energy resources.
